During COVID lockdown we wanted a way to celebrate the frontline workers in the hospitals, and the workers keeping the country going; from the utility workers to the drivers. Rainbows were starting to pop up all around the country as a symbol of hope, and we though Amazon should get involved too.

We made a Rainbow filled with thanks to all the key workers and published it in newspapers across the country.

We supplemented this with social media posts.

Then the campaign took off. All parts of the Amazon business wanted to be involved and show their support. We created light installations that we displayed on the sides of Fulfilment Centres and our corporate offices around the UK.

Vinyls were printed and stuck on delivery vans and even people working from home go involved adding to their email signatures!

The campaign created such as buzz that Amazon teams from all over the world reached out to see how they could get involved.

The campaign resulted in over 300 hours of rainbows projected on Amazon buildings around the UK, over 11MM social media impressions (with 42.5K engagements on @AmazonUK posts) and over 318 positive media articles!
